Trump Officials in Secret Talks with Azerbaijan, Central Asian States on Israel Ties
The US and Iran are in indirect talks for a diplomatic solution to the Iranian nuclear program
Recently, news has been circulating on social media that US President Donald Trump, through his administration, is considering providing Iran with $30 billion in financial aid so that Iran can develop a civilian nuclear program.
But a fact check shows that this claim is not true. Even President Trump has strongly denied any such proposal.
CNN and NBC News had said in their reports that the Trump administration is initially considering a plan to provide economic incentives to Iran if it stops enriching uranium; however, these reports mentioned that the proposals are still in the early stages.
Responding to these reports, President Trump on Friday night on his social media platform ‘Social Truth’ clearly stated that some people in the fake media are saying that President Trump wants to give Iran $30 billion for a civilian nuclear facility, but he has never heard such a ridiculous idea, and it is a big lie.
It should be noted that since April, indirect talks have been underway between the United States and Iran for a diplomatic solution to Iran’s nuclear program. Iran maintains that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, while the United States insists that the purpose of these talks is to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
There is no truth to President Trump’s claim of giving Iran $30 billion; it is just a rumor that President Trump himself has strongly denied.
