The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) has warned that the number of sexual abuse videos made by artificial intelligence (AI) has increased alarmingly.
According to the British news agency, many scenes in these AI videos are based on real affected children, meaning the exploitation of victims continues in new forms.

The report revealed that more than a thousand videos were included in the “category A”, which is the most severe classification of children’s sexual abuse.
In addition, there were 210 web links that contained the content of sexual abuse of children made from AI. This is a 400 % increase over last year.
The British government has introduced new rules in February 2025 to tackle this serious problem.
