Us Soldier Arrested for Providing Sensitive Information to Russia
A US serviceman has been arrested on charges of providing sensitive information about US tanks to Russia.
According to foreign media, the US Department of Justice has arrested a US soldier, Taylor Adam Lee, on charges of providing sensitive information about the US military tank M-1 Abraham to Russia.
Taylor Adam Lee, a 22-year-old serviceman from El Paso, Texas, is accused of providing information about the US tank to a Russian intelligence officer in June in exchange for obtaining Russian citizenship.
Prosecutors allege that Taylor Adam Lee, who has clearance from the US military to access sensitive information, secretly provided assistance to the Russian government and sent a message to a person who was allegedly a Russian intelligence officer after providing information about the storage of tanks in Texas.
Details released by the Justice Department further revealed that Adam Lee allegedly provided a memory card that contained sensitive information related to operations with tanks and other military vehicles.
