UK: Government Plans to Include 18 To 21 -Year -Old Youth in Employment, Education or Training
The British government has launched a new step for youth called the “Youth Guarantee”.
The purpose of the project is to make every 18 to 21 -year -old young man join or study in a training program, in employment.
The scheme has been introduced under the ‘Plan for Change’ to increase opportunities for the youth and remove the obstacles to their path.
Under the project, eight ‘Youth Guarantee Trial Blazers’ have been launched across England, which will provide support for young people in the fields of job and skills, as well as the job centers are being modernized.
The government has invested £ 45m for all this process, now the opinion of the youth will form policies, the government has also set up a ‘Youth Advisory Panel’ to guide the youth so that the project can be better formed by youth feedback.
The youths in this panel have already given suggestions to the government that have begun to be implemented.
