Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates has clearly denied the news claiming that the Golden visa is being issued for a lifetime for certain nationalities for a million dirhams.

In recent days, Indian media, including the Press Trust of India, The Hindu and the Times of India, reported that citizens of India and Bangladesh can get a Golden visa under a new scheme.
However, the UAE government has explained that the Golden Visa is specific to specific categories such as investors, businessmen, scientists, prominent students and humanitarian activists, and all applications can be submitted only through government channels.
The ICP warns that unauthorized consulting offices or websites, which try to deceive people by making false claims. Legal action will be taken against such persons.
Applicants have been advised not to give fees or personal information to any unconfirmed agency and only rely on UAE’s internal official sources.
