Trump's Elon Musk: Eliminates subsidies if South Africa will go back
Trump also told reporters that an agreement with Hamas is likely this week
US President Donald Trump termed the announcement of the formation of a third political party by Tesla and the owner of the social media platform “X” as “ridiculous and unnecessary”.
Yesterday, Elon Musk announced on his X account that he was forming a new political party called “America Party”, aimed at liberating the people and challenging the current political system.
Talking to reporters in New Jersey, Trump said: “I think forming a third party is a ridiculous idea. It will only increase political confusion.”
President Trump added that if Elon Musk likes to do all this, he can do it, but this step is “waste” and “absolutely unnecessary”.
Trump also told reporters that an agreement with Hamas is likely this week, and he can visit Texas on Friday.
Remember that Elon Musk has been a close ally of Trump in the past, and after becoming president, Trump also made him the head of the Department of Government (DOGE). However, the relations between the two leaders later became strained, and Elon resigned from his post.
