Sources made it clear that there are challenges yet and the contract is not guaranteed to be finalized because the progress in the talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia is slow.
It is to be noted that the Abraham Accord was signed in 2020 and 2021 in Donald Trump’s first presidency, and under the agreement, four Muslim countries established relations with Israel in US mediation.
The report said that as a result of Trump’s effort, his administration hopes that Saudi Arabia will also be convinced.
Saudi Arabia, on the other hand, has repeatedly made it clear that it will not take steps to recognize Israel unless Palestine is recognized as a state and it will not be easy for Saudi Arabia to make such a deal after the recent barbarism in Gaza.
