US President Donald Trump imposes a 30 % trade tax on the European Union and Mexico.
US President Donald Trump posted trade letters on social media.
In a social media post, Trump says EU products will impose 30 % tax from August 1.
Items from Mexico will also be taxed 30 % from August 1.
President Trump has so far sent trade letters to several countries, including 40 % on Myanmar, Laos, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Algeria, Iraq and Libya.
According to the letters, the United States has levied 25 % tax on Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Brunei and Maldova and 20 % on the Philippines.
