How Much Damage To Iranian Nuclear Plants Caused By US Attacks, IAEA Chief Reveals
Further clashes between Iran and the United States are increasing during the ongoing tensions in the Middle East
Rafael Grosy, director general of the World Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), said that after the US airstrikes, Iran’s Fardo nuclear site has seen “major pits”, while the Tunnels have been destroyed at the Isfahan Nuclear Complex that was used for uranium enriched material.
According to Grossi, the fuel enrichment plant has also been re -targeted. The US attack is being described as a systematic attempt to target Iran’s sensitive nuclear installations.
However, Iranian authorities say the three places were evacuated before the attack and there was no material that would cause radiation. He has also claimed that there was no extraordinary increase in the radiation level.
The statement comes when there is a rise of possible clashes between Iran and the United States during the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
