According to Ronen Bergman, a senior journalist for the Israeli news agency ‘YNet’, current and former senior officials of the Israeli security agencies said that the United States is considering the option of a unilateral ceasefire to limit the current tension with Iran.
According to the officials, if Iran accepts the ceasefire, it will show it as its success, while the United States and Israel will present it as achieving their goal of eliminating Iran’s nuclear threat.
