DHAKA: The death toll has increased to 27 in a tragic accident on a high school campus on a high school campus in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka.
The dead included 25 students and aircraft pilots, while around 170 people were injured, a large number of schoolchildren are reported to be between 12 and 16 years.
Government officials say the accident happened yesterday when the F-7 model training plane suffered a technical malfunction shortly after the take-off.
According to the military spokesman, the pilot tried his best to take the plane away from the population, but unfortunately it did not succeed and the plane collided with a high school building directly.
Rescue teams started rescue operations at the scene after the accident and the injured and the bodies were immediately shifted to the hospital.
Authorities have set up a high -level committee to investigate the incident, which will review the cause of the plane’s malfunction and potential negligence.
