Texas: We Will Not Stop Looking for the Last Person, Governor Greg Abbott
The US state of Texas Governor Greg Abbott has announced at an emergency press conference that we will not stop, until the last missing person is searching.
Rescue operations have entered the fifth day after the devastating floods on July 4 in Texas. More than 109 people have been killed in the floods and 173 people are missing.
Governor Greg Abbott has confirmed that more than 109 people have been killed, 94 of whom are only from Kerr County, while 161 in Kerr County and 12 in other areas are missing.
The governor also conducted an aerial review of the flood -hit areas and termed the situation a “historic catastrophe”.
The level of the Guadelop River rose up to 26 feet in just 45 minutes, which is equal to a 2 -storey building.
