Washington: US President Donald Trump told the media that the tariff payments would begin on August 1 and called the move an important step towards the stability of the US economy.
Speaking on international issues, President Trump claimed that many wars were stopped during his presidency, resulting in the saving millions of human lives.
He said that the Russian Ukraine War began during the era of President Biden, while during his tenure, Russia did not launch any aggression.
President Trump added that he also stopped a possible war between Pakistan and India and played a key role in reducing tensions between the two countries.
He described former president Joe Biden’s weak policies as the real cause of wars and conflicts globally, saying his government had corrected these mistakes.
He said Iran’s nuclear installations have been completely destroyed to ensure world peace.
Talking about peace in Africa, President Trump said he ended the long -standing war between Rwanda and Congo.
Talking about Russia, he said that the claims made by President Vladimir Putin for peace were not implemented. However, Trump hoped that Putin would change his opinion within 50 days.
Referring to talks with Iran, President Trump said he had no hurry to talk, and all decisions would be made in keeping with the interests of the United States.
In addition, he said that a good trade deal with Vietnam has been reached which will benefit both countries economic benefit.
