After Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan for military control over Gaza was approved by the security cabinet, Israeli Finance Minister Basil Smotrich threatened to topple the government.
According to foreign media, Smotrich said in a cabinet meeting that if the prime minister cannot lead the army to a decisive victory, it is better to stop everything and let the people decide.
He said that it seems that Netanyahu does not want to give the army a decisive victory.
