Security Council Exchanges Rigorous Accusations in the US And China on the Ukraine Issue
The UN Security Council has exchanged severe allegations between the United States and China over the Ukraine issue.
The United States called on China to stop promoting Russian aggression in Ukraine, to which China’s delegation responded to Turkey, saying that the United States was trying to blame others and create a dispute.
According to Russian media, US acting delegation to the United Nations, Dorthy Shia, asked all countries, including China, to stop supplying goods to Russia that strengthening Russia’s military industrial complex.
Chinese spokesman Gang Shuang rejected US accusations altogether and made it clear that Russia and the Ukraine are not a part of the conflict, and that China has never provided weapons to any of the two countries.
The Chinese spokesman said that the United States should stop the accusations and start fighting. China also reacted strongly to US threats to Russian trade partners.
A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said last week that Beijing rejects unilateral unilateral sanctions and external jurisdiction.
