Saudi Arabia has also sent financial assistance
The UK has expressed its solidarity with the devastating situation caused by recent rains and cloudbursts in Pakistan, while Saudi Arabia has announced financial support.
Britain’s King Charles III and Queen said in a statement that they are deeply saddened by the deaths and destruction caused by the rains and floods in Pakistan.
King Charles said that we are with all those who have lost their loved ones, homes and businesses.
He added that families with close ties to Pakistan in the UK are saddened by the grief of the Pakistani people.
King Charles said that the UK stands with the people of Pakistan in this difficult time and appreciates the courage and determination of local communities and volunteers.
King Charles said that my wife, Queen Camilla, is saddened by the loss of precious lives and the widespread destruction in the floods and helicopter crash.
He added that we pay tribute to the courage and determination of the emergency services, volunteers and local communities, whose efforts shine a light even in dark moments.
King Charles and Queen Camilla said that they are especially praying for the affected communities as they face the challenges of rehabilitation and reconstruction of the affected areas.
On the other hand, Saudi Arabia has sent relief supplies to the flood victims in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
This aid has been sent by the Saudi government, the Royal Family and the King Salman Relief Center, which includes 10,000 shelter kits and 10,000 food packets.
It should be recalled that more than 350 people died and dozens are missing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa last week as a result of cloudbursts and heavy rains. Infrastructure and property worth billions of rupees were destroyed by the floods.
At least 15 people died and dozens were injured as a result of torrential rains in Karachi today, while several vehicles fell into drains and crashed.
