Washington: Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani will meet US President Donald Trump today, where they will discuss important issues such as condemnation of the Israeli attack, the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, and the release of hostages.
According to a foreign news agency, the Qatari Prime Minister is also expected to hold separate meetings with US Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Special Representative Steve Witkoff.
According to sources, the meeting will also discuss the situation after the Israeli attack on Doha on September 9 and progress on the agreement to release the hostages.
It should be remembered that the Security Council recently unanimously condemned the attack on Qatar without naming Israel.
Addressing the meeting, the Qatari Prime Minister said that Israel had insulted diplomacy by attacking Doha and wanted to sabotage efforts to establish peace in Gaza.
He made it clear that Qatar would continue its mediation role and humanitarian efforts without hesitation.
