Iran’s nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, Russian President Putin
There was a two -hour -long telephonic conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron, which discussed the impact on Iran’s nuclear program and the region of missile technology.
According to news agencies, French President Macron expressed concern that Iran’s nuclear program and missile system could be dangerous to the region.
He emphasized that Iran should fully cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and ensure strict implementation of the Nuclear Non -Proliferation Agreement (NPT).
Russian President Putin supported the Iranian stance, saying that Iran’s nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, and under international law, Iran has the right to continue its nuclear energy.
He emphasized that Iran’s sovereignty and security should be respected.
French President Macron said France is committed to finding diplomatic solutions to the Iranian nuclear program and missile system.
The two leaders agreed on the need for peace and stability in the region and said that finding solutions to problems through diplomatic efforts is the best way.
