Palestine Should Be Immediately Recognized as State: 60 Labor Members Demand Britain
About 60 British Labor MPs have written to Foreign Minister David Lami demanding that the UK should immediately recognize Palestine as a state, the demand has come when the Israeli Defense Minister has announced that all Gaza residents will be forced into a camp in Rafah.
In the letter, MPs warned that they believe that the ongoing steps in Gaza are actually ethnic cleansing.
He writes that the announcement of the Israeli Defense Minister is an operational plan against humanity, which is a systematic approach to forcibly evacuating an entire population.
MPs wrote in their letter that we are writing this letter to you in view of a very concern and emergency, which was created by the Israeli Defense Minister’s announcement, in which they have been planned to move all Palestinian citizens of Gaza on Monday to a camp in a destroyed city of Rafah.
He further said that Michael Sabard, a prominent Israeli human rights lawyer, called the project a “practical plan for crime against humanity”, which is a forced transfer of population on the southern bank of Gaza and then completely expulsion.
This letter is arranged by Labour Friends of Palestine and the Middle East and has the signature of 59 MPs belonging to different party factions.
