Pakistan, China Strengthen Security Ties Amid Regional Challenges in Asim Munir’s Visit
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has met with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng and Foreign Minister Wang Xi.
According to the Pakistan Army Department of Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has made an official visit to China where he has held high level meetings with the Chinese political and military leadership in Beijing.
According to the ISPR, the meetings in China have re -endorsed the Pak -China Wire Strategic Partnership.
These meetings also discuss regional and global political situation.
On this occasion, the contact plan was also discussed under the C -Pack, while a coordinated strategy was also discussed to tackle joint geographical political challenges.
According to the ISPR, the parties expressed satisfaction over the strengthening of bilateral relations and reaffirmed a joint commitment to sovereignty, multilateral cooperation and regional stability.
The Chinese leadership praised the role of Pakistan forces for peace and stability in South Asia.
According to the ISPR, Field Marshal Asim Munir also met Vice Chairman Central Military Commission General Zhang Yoshia, Political Commissioner General of the People’s Liberation Army, and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Kai Zai.
These meetings discussed defense and security cooperation and counter -terrorism, meetings also discussed joint training, defense modernization and promotion of institutional relations.
On this occasion, the emphasis was on strengthening the mutual operational harmony and strategic coordination to counter hybrid, cross -border threats.
According to the ISPR, the Chinese military leadership expressed their confidence in the Pak -China defense partnership, the Chinese military leadership also acknowledged Pakistan’s key role in promoting regional peace.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir thanked China’s constant support and reaffirmed his commitment to further expand military cooperation in all fields.
