Pakistan, China And Afghan Foreign Ministers Meet, Agree To Extend Cpec To Afghanistan
A trilateral meeting in the Afghan capital Kabul also agreed to extend CPEC to Afghanistan.
The sixth trilateral meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Pakistan, China and Afghanistan was held in Kabul.
According to the Foreign Office, political, economic and security cooperation were discussed in the trilateral meeting. In the meeting, the three countries resolved to intensify joint efforts against terrorism.
The spokesperson said that the trilateral meeting agreed to increase trade, transit, regional development, health, education and cultural cooperation and extend CPEC to Afghanistan.
Later, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar left for Pakistan after completing a one-day visit to Kabul. Ishaq Dar was accompanied by Special Representative for Afghanistan Mohammad Sadiq.
Senior officials of the Foreign Ministry were also present with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. Ishaq Dar also met with the Afghan Caretaker Foreign Minister.
