Netanyahu's Return From The United States Without Any Major Progress On Gaza; The Declaration Was Not Issued
Israeli Prime Minister President Trump met twice in the White House
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu completed a visit to the White House without any progress on the Gaza talks.
According to the World News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu met US President Donald Trump twice in two days.
“We are not abandoning efforts for a moment and this is possible as a result of our military pressure,” Netanyahu said after the meeting.
He said that Israel wants to achieve its three basic goals in Gaza. This includes the release of all hostages, the abolition of Hamas military and government capability and not letting Gaza become a threat to Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu added that after the joint action between Israel and the United States against Iran, the possibility of peace has expanded and the scope of the Ibrahim agreements can be extended.
President Trump and the Israeli Prime Minister held these meetings at the White House’s Oval Office, which was also attended by US Vice President JD Venus.
However, the main reason for the meeting, namely, the ceasefire and the release of hostages in Gaza, has not been formally announced.
The two leaders praised each other in the dinner on Monday night. Netanyahu also presented a letter to President Trump’s nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, saying that US operations against Iran have paved the way for peace in the region.
Immediately after these meetings, the US envoy Steve Watkov was looking forward to the deal. They claimed that a big announcement could come out.
However, Steve Watkov postponed his visit to Doha, where he was about to participate in the ongoing negotiations between Israel and Hamas.
Which shows that the negotiations have not yet come to any conclusion.
Although a few important points have been agreed, there are still deep differences between Hamas and Israel on the terms of the ceasefire and the terms of the agreement.
According to the Saudi broadcasting agency, the fifth round of talks in Qatar ended without any significant progress.
A Palestinian official said that the Israeli delegation is limited to listening only and is consulting Netanyahu and the Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dormer in all matters.
Israel has demanded that the IDF remains in the Morg Corridor in southern Gaza during a 60 -day possible ceasefire.
