Israeli troops demolish Turkish cemetery in southern Gaza with tanks and bulldozers
The Israeli army demolished the Turkish cemetery in southern Gaza, demonstrating another humanitarian barbarism.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Defense, Israeli forces removed the graves in Al -Mawasi, west of Khan Yunus, and removed the bodies, which the ministry declared “open -minded” and “a clear attack on the sanctity of the deceased.”
The ministry says that Israeli infiltration has not only been limited to living Palestinians, but now the graves of men have also been subjected to enmity. The demolition of the Turkish cemetery has been termed by the ministry a serious violation of human dignity and religious values.
According to eyewitnesses, the Israeli bulldozers continued to trample the cemetery, while the Palestinian camps on the sides were also completely demolished.
According to the Ministry of Defense, at least two -thirds of the 60 cemeteries in Gaza have either been completely destroyed or severely damaged.
According to international law, the sanctity of the cemeteries must be maintained, but Israeli actions are considered an open violation of global human rights principles and war rules.
