Massive Cyberattack Hits Aeroflot Flights; Russia Calls It 'Digital War'
Russian authorities have launched a criminal investigation into the cyber attack
Russia’s largest aviation company, Aeroflot, suffered a severe cyber-attack, which canceled dozens of flights on Monday.
The Hacking operation was claimed by the Ukrainian pro -Group ‘Silent Crowe’, which is reported to have been attacked by the Belarusi group ‘Cyber Parties’.
Passengers suffered severe problems due to the cancellation of dozens of flights to Russia’s Shermativo Airport, especially at a time when a large number of Russian people leave for holidays.
The Kremlin has described the attack as “worrying”, while Russian authorities have launched a criminal investigation into the cyber-attack. Russian Member of Parliament Anton Gorilkin said Russia is now at the target of a digital war.
‘Silent Croo’ has previously attacked several Russian companies, including real estate database, telecom company, Moscow government and international carmaker “Kia”.
