Lithuanian PM accused of providing financial benefits to Sali’s company
Lithuania’s Prime Minister Gnatasatas Paulkas announced his resignation.
According to the World News Agency, the country’s central coalition “Four Lithuania” announced yesterday that if Palkas did not resign, they would quit the government alliance.

He added in his statement that the immediate and confident decision of resigning due to this negative performance has been made.
It is to be noted that Prime Minister Pawasas was accused of providing business transactions and government financial benefits with his brother -in -law.
Opposition parties had alleged that a company whose Paul Paul Co -owners had sold electric batteries to a company owned by them.
The deal was financed by a government agency that was accused of confrontation of interests.
Last week, the company announced that it would not accept government funding, but he denied any illegal action, saying the purchase was made through an open bold.
After his resignation, the new Prime Minister will be elected to his Socialist Democrat Party, which has 52 seats in the 141 -member parliament.
However, differences between the two coalition parties, Four Lithuania and the Popolist party “Nimonas Dawn”, can be difficult to get majority votes.
