Junk Food Can Increase the Risk of Which Dangerous Disease?
According to researchers, the global impact of this disease can be reduced by limiting the consumption of ultra-processed foods
A new study has revealed that foods like burgers and pizza can cause a dangerous type of cancer.
According to research published in the journal Thorax, ultra-processed foods containing preservatives, additives and flavor-enhancing chemicals can increase the risk of lung cancer.
According to the World Cancer Research Fund, a new study has now revealed a link between these foods and lung cancer.
The researchers said that in 2020, an estimated 2.2 million new cases were reported globally, while 1.8 million people died from this disease.
The researchers added that the global impact of this disease can be reduced by limiting the consumption of ultra-processed foods.
It should be noted that a study published in the BMG in 2024 previously linked ultra-processed foods to an increased risk of 32 diseases. These diseases include cardiovascular disease, cancer, type 2 diabetes, poor mental health, and premature death.
