This year, the hottest June in Japan’s history was recorded.
According to the World News Agency, the Japanese Meteorological Department has announced that June this time proved to be the hottest June in the country’s history, with average temperatures higher than normal.
The Meteorological Department added that the temperature record began in 1898 and from that time so hot June has never been seen.

The temperature of June 2025 was about one degree higher than the hottest recorded five years ago.
The statement said that the main cause of this heat wave was the dominant of a powerful high pressure system across the country, which caused severe heat.

In the city of Sandai, it was 3.6 degrees higher than usual. In the central Tokyo, there were 13 days in the month of June, with a temperature of 30 degrees or higher, which is 2.8 degrees higher than usual.
The Meteorological Department has warned that a severe heat wave is expected to continue in July, which has been given instructions to the public to be careful and avoid heat stroke.
