Israel's Decision To Divide The West Bank
The Israeli government has decided to advance a plan to divide the occupied West Bank.
According to Arab and Israeli media, Israel has resumed construction projects in the E1 area of the occupied West Bank.
According to foreign media reports, Israel’s move will separate the northern and southern parts of the West Bank and disconnect ground contact between them.
According to Arab media, the construction will jeopardize the lands left around Ramala, East Jerusalem and Bethlehem, while Israeli media says 3,412 residential units will be constructed in a 12 -square -kilometer area under this controversial project which violates international law.
On the other hand, Israeli occupants have also been attacked in holy Christian sites in the West Bank.
Christian leaders strongly protested Israeli occupants over attacks on sacred Christian sites, cemeteries, fifth -century churches and homes in the West Bank, and called these attacks a direct threat to the local Christian population and its historical and religious heritage.
According to media reports, Israeli police did not respond to the emergency calls of the local community.
