British Foreign Secretary David Lemmy said that this Jewish settlement plan would divide the Palestinian state into two
The British Foreign Secretary has warned Israel that it would be a clear violation of international law, expressing concern over the Jewish settlement plan in the West Bank.
According to the International News Agency, the plan was announced by the Israeli Finance Minister a few days ago and was approved today by the Israeli Ministry of Defense Planning Commission.
British Foreign Secretary David Lemmy has expressed serious concern over this plan, saying that this plan is an attempt to divide the future Palestinian state.
He urged the Israeli government to immediately withdraw its approval of the Jewish settlement plan in the West Bank so as not to further harm peace efforts in the region.
What is Israel’s E-One plan?
This plan will separate the West Bank from East Jerusalem and divide the Palestinian state into two.
Israel’s move has already been widely condemned internationally when the finance minister announced the plan six days ago.
It should be noted that the construction of Israeli settlements is considered by major powers, including the United Nations, to be contrary to international law.
Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem has been controversial since the 1967 war.
