Israeli Bombing Kills 50 More Palestinians, Death Toll From Hunger Reaches 317
More than 1,500 homes destroyed during Israeli ground operation in Zeitoun and Shujaiyah areas
Gaza: The Israeli army carried out heavy bombardment in the eastern and southern parts of Gaza City, as a result of which at least 50 Palestinians have been martyred since Thursday morning, including women and children.
According to Al Jazeera, the Israeli army is preparing to completely occupy Gaza City, while the United Nations and other international organizations have expressed serious concern over this operation.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that the military operation in Gaza would prove to be devastating and millions of citizens would be forced to become homeless.
According to the Gaza Civil Defense Agency, more than 1,500 homes were destroyed during the Israeli ground operation in the Zeitoun and Shujaiyah areas. Citizens say that they are forced to leave their homes and seek refuge towards the coast.
The Gaza Health Ministry has confirmed that four more people have died from malnutrition, including two children, bringing the total number of deaths from hunger to 317. In total, more than 62,900 Palestinians have died in Gaza so far, the majority of whom are women and children.
