Israel Plays Bloodbath At Al-Nasr Hospital In Gaza; Number Of Martyred Journalists Reaches 6
Another 25 people were also martyred in the Israeli bombing, including medical staff and rescue workers.
The aggressive Israel has made Gaza the most dangerous place for journalists, trampling all international laws and principles.
According to the International News Agency, the number of journalists martyred in the Israeli bombing of Al-Nasr Hospital and the shooting in Khan Yunis has increased from 4 to 6.
The sixth journalist who was martyred was shot by Israeli forces in the Khan Yunis area. The journalist was identified as Hassan Dohan, who is also an educationist.
According to Al Jazeera, Hassan Dohan used to carry out journalistic duties for the Al-Hayat Al-Jadeeda newspaper and was quite active on social media.
It is said that his posts on social media led to his identification and martyrdom. The Israeli army has crushed freedom of expression.
Earlier today, the first four journalists were confirmed dead in the bombing of the main Al-Nasr hospital in Gaza.
They include Reuters cameraman Hossam Al-Masri, Associated Press and British newspaper The Independent correspondent Maryam Abu Daqa, American TV network NBC reporter Abu Taha, and Al Jazeera photojournalist Mohamed Salameh.
Later, Quds News Agency correspondent Ahmed Abu Aziz also succumbed to his wounds. This brought the total to five.
All these journalists were struggling to show the world the truth in a war-torn environment, but Israeli shelling silenced their voices forever.
The journalist community and human rights organizations have called these incidents an attack on freedom of expression and a clear violation of international law. They say that targeting media representatives is proof that Israel does not want to let the facts come to the world.
In addition to the journalists, at least 20 other people were also martyred in this Israeli bombing, the majority of whom were medical personnel and rescue workers.
