According to the World News Agency, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid al -Ansari said in a statement that Israel and Hamas were engaged in mediation efforts.
He added that after the ceasefire between Iran and Israel, there was a positive atmosphere in which the release of Israeli hostages and progress on the Gaza ceasefire could be made.
The Qatari spokesman told the news agency AFP that if we did not take advantage of this opportunity, it would be one of the many occasions that have been lost in the past.
