A man who spied for Israel’s notorious Mossad intelligence agency has been executed in Iran.
According to the international news agency, no information was provided about the accused, Rozbeh Vadhi, but his social media account introduced him as an official of the Iran Nuclear Regulatory Authority and the National Nuclear Safety Department.
According to Iran’s judicial website Mizan, the accused, Rozbeh Vadhi, had provided the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad with details of a nuclear scientist who was martyred by Israel in an attack in June.

It is not yet clear when and where Rozbeh Vadhi was arrested or when the court handed down the sentence.
However, local media have claimed that at least 12 Iranian nuclear scientists were martyred in Israeli attacks in June. The arrest of the accused was carried out immediately after that.
