Iran Hangs Three More People for Spying For Israel
The executions were given just one day after a ceasefire between Iran and Israel
Iran executed three people on charges of alleged links with Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. The executions were given just one day after the ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
According to the International News Agency AFP, the Iranian judiciary says Idris Ali, Azad Shujai and Rasool Ahmed Rasool were convicted of smuggling goods for killing and cooperating with Israel.
The Iranian judiciary said that the three criminals were hanged this morning in the city of Uromiya, which is located near the Turkish border.
According to the Iranian media balance news agency, the smuggled weapons of these men were used in the murder of an unknown person, but details about the victim were not released.
Before the execution, the three men were photographed by Iranian media in a blue prisoner dress. It is to be noted that Iran is often prosecuted for spying for Mossad or other foreign intelligence agencies.

Iranian authorities also executed at least five people on suspicion of belonging to Israel earlier this week.
According to the human rights organization Amnesty International, Iran is the second country in the world after China, where the highest penalty is given the death.
