58 -year -old case solution from DNA; The accused arrested at the age of 92
The DNA, taken from the skirt, was match the samples obtained by Ryland Headley, accused in two other sexual abuse cases in 1977. He was arrested in November 2024.
After the arrest of the accused, his palm print was also re -examined and four experts confirmed that he was compatible with the print headley.
The case was re -heard in which the statements of the old witnesses were read as almost all the witnesses had died.
The accused, Headley, was sentenced to life imprisonment in the past for allegedly abusing two elderly women’s homes, but was sentenced to seven years.
