The report said that a Chinese company called Space Transportation has successfully tested the Yunxing prototype aircraft and this commercial aircraft will fly at Mach 4 speed, i.e. 4 times faster than sound.

Regarding the speed of the said aircraft, the report said that the hypersonic aircraft should fly at a speed of 3,069 miles per hour, which is about 5,000 kilometers per hour, which is almost the speed of the retired Concorde aircraft.

According to the report, the supersonic Concorde can fly at a speed of 2,000 kilometers per hour, which is more than twice the speed of sound.

Reports about China’s hypersonic aircraft said that this aircraft will complete the journey from London to New York in just one and a half to two hours.

The report said that the aircraft is being built by Beijing-based company Lingkong Tianxing Technology, citing the company as saying that its Yunxing prototype aircraft has successfully flown, but further engine tests will be held in November.

It was further reported that under this project, a fully developed hypersonic passenger aircraft is planned to start flights by 2027 and the company claims that this supersonic aircraft will have a speed of Mach 4.

The aircraft manufacturer claims that the supersonic aircraft to be produced will travel between Paris and Beijing in just one hour and the journey from Beijing to New York will be completed in two hours.

The report said that when this aircraft starts its flights, the travel time between countries could be extremely short.

If this project is successful, the said aircraft will be the first supersonic aircraft that China has produced in 25 years since Concorde made its first flight in 2003.

According to the report, the United States is also planning a commercial supersonic aircraft and other companies are also in this race, but Space Transportation is going to make it a reality. The American company Venus Aerospace is building a jet engine, about which secret claims have emerged that it can exceed Mach 6 speeds.

This competition could open the doors to the hypersonic economy and according to the report, Tesla and SpaceX owner Elon Musk has also given indications that he is interested in building supersonic aircraft, but he is busy with his many other major commercial projects and is not eager to enter this race.
