Houthis Warn They’ll Attack Ships if U.S. Strikes Iran – Escalating Red Sea Tensions
Yemen stands in defense of Muslim countries against occupying and aggressive nations, said the spokesman for the Houthi army.
Yemen’s Houthis have threatened the U.S. that if it joins actions against Iran, their ships in the Red Sea will be targeted.

“The Zionist-American aggression’s plan to gain supremacy in the West Asian region through attacks on Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and now Iran will face unwavering resistance,” he said.
He said that our forces are monitoring all aggressive activities, Yemen stands to protect all Muslim countries against the occupying and aggressive nations.
“The US aggression against Iran in support of the Zionist enemy cannot be ignored because it means curtailing freedom and undermining the sovereignty of our nation,” a Houthi military spokesman said.
It should be noted that last month an agreement was reached between the US and the Houthis on a ceasefire, under which both sides pledged not to target anyone.
However, the recent statement from Yemen’s Houthis comes in light of reports circulating about the Trump administration’s preparations for attacks on Iran in support of Israel.
