Heavy Rains in Beijing and Northern China, 60 People Killed, Millions Injured in Floods
Monsoon rains in Beijing and northern China this year have caused devastation.
Flooding in Beijing and northern China killed 60 people, affected more than 3 million people and damaged thousands of houses and roads.
According to the news agency, the dead included 31 elderly people from nursing home.
On the other hand, according to Beijing’s deputy mayor, 44 people lost their lives in the capital alone as a result of heavy rains, while 31 people were missing in Beijing and nearby Hebei.
