Seven Israeli soldiers, including a platoon commander, have been killed in a Palestinian organization Hamas attack in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunus, while an Israeli soldier was seriously injured in a separate clash.
According to British news agency Reuters, the Israeli military confirmed on Wednesday that seven of its personnel were killed in a Tuesday incident.
Israeli media say the explosives mounted under the soldier’s vehicle caused a fire that caused a fire.
