After the incident, the number of Israeli soldiers killed in a ground operation in Gaza has risen to 454
Hamas operation in northern Gaza destroyed Israel’s world’s safest Mark 4 tank, killing 3 Israeli soldiers and injuring one officer.
According to reports, the incident took place in the Jabalia area where the 401st Armored Brigade tank was hit by a powerful blast.
It was initially suspected that the tank was targeted by the rocket propriet grenade (RPG), but the investigating team later expressed concern that the explosion occurred due to the explosion inside the tank.
The soldiers killed include Shoham Manham, Shlomo Yakir Shrim and Yuli Factor. The name of the injured officer was not disclosed, but his condition is reported to be critical.
According to the military, all of these personnel belonged to the 52nd Battalion. Following the incident, the number of Israeli soldiers killed in a ground operation in Gaza has reached 454.
Israel termed the Mark 4 tanks as incredible, just as it considered the Iron Dom Defense system unbeaten, which was proven by Iranian missiles during the recent Iran-Israel war.
