France Rejects Israeli Plan for Full Military Occupation Of Gaza; Also Made an Important Suggestion
The French president also called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, international unity and cooperation from the international community
French President Emmanuel Macron described the continued advance of the Israeli army in Gaza as a “human tragedy and the height of the crisis.”
According to the international news agency, the French president said that Israel’s plan to gain complete control over Gaza is not only dangerous but also inhumane.
President Macron said that as a result of this dangerous campaign, civilians, especially children, will face the worst conditions, while the safety of Israeli prisoners is also at stake.
The French president, while urging Israel for an immediate ceasefire and a political solution to the conflict, said that continuous military operations are further undermining peace in the region and the people of Gaza are being deprived of basic facilities.
President Macron also proposed the formation of an international coalition, with the approval of the United Nations, to combat terrorism, ensure stability and humanitarian assistance in Gaza, and mobilize the international community to reduce the effects of the crisis.
It should be remembered that at this time Israel has already taken control of 75 percent of Gaza and is now preparing to take full control of Gaza City.
