Dubai: The United Arab Emirates has crossed another milestone in the world of modern technology, the first test flight of a flying taxi in Dubai has been successfully completed.
According to Emirati officials, this test flight started from the desert area of Murgham between Dubai and Al Ain and successfully ended at Al Maktoum Airport.
Officials say that this electric air taxi can fly at a speed of 320 kilometers per hour, with a seating capacity of 4 passengers. It is completely environmentally friendly and produces negligible noise compared to ordinary air vehicles.
The Emirati government has announced that the air taxi service will be launched regularly for the public in 2026, while a schedule for more experimental flights in urban areas is also being prepared.
