China Made the Brain of Bees Controlling the Bees
The brain control device weighs only 74 mg
A team of scientists in China claims to be the world’s lowest weight device. Scientists have made this device for honey bees.
This small brain control device weighs only 74 milligrams, which researchers say is also lighter than the box in the bee stomach in which flower juice accumulates.
A team of Beijing Institute of Technology, who is guided by Professor Xiao Jeliang, said the device’s system is directly connected to the bee’s brain.
When the device is placed on the back of a bee, the three needles that come out of it are installed in the bee’s brain. After which the operators can send electric pulse to the bee brain and issue instructions to fly in the desired directions.
Research published in the Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering said that during the trial bees followed by the operator’s instructions for 90 %.
