Ceasefire Talks Between Israel And Hamas In Qatar Failed
US President Donald Trump claims that Israel is ready for a 60 -day ceasefire
The first round of ceasefire talks between Israel and the Palestinian organization Hamas in Qatar’s capital Doha has come to an end without coming to a conclusion.
According to Palestinian sources, the Israeli delegation must have participated in the negotiations, but came without the necessary powers for the final agreement, which could not proceed.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had already warned that Hamas’s recent demands were unacceptable to Israel, but he still sent a high -level team to Qatar.
A few days ago, Hamas responded positively to a new ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement presented by Qatar and the United States, after which it was hoped that the parties were nearing the deal.
US President Donald Trump also claimed that Israel was ready for a 60 -day ceasefire and that the release of prisoners could be possible soon. Talking to the media in New Jersey on Sunday, Trump said, “We have a good chance to have a deal with Hamas this week.”
