The Ukrainian parliament has appointed new Prime Minister Yulia Soyedenko during the Russian war in the country.
39 -year -old Yulia Sweerdinko was previously serving as the Deputy Prime Minister. The purpose of his appointment is to improve government capability in war conditions and promote the local defense industry.
President Volodomer Zelannsky has hoped that the new government will increase the share of local weapons by 50 % in the next six months. He also talked about enhancing cooperation with allied countries and ease the laws to support the economy.
Yulia wrote on the X (formerly Twitter) that her government would work fast, especially the supply of military equipment, increased defense production and improving technology.
Former Prime Minister Danis Shamiahal has been appointed as the new Defense Minister, while other important positions have been made in the government.
Ukraine is currently suffering from financial difficulties and can face a budget deficit of about $ 19 billion for next year. Yulia has announced a full audit of financial matters and extensive privatization.
The opposition has raised questions about the sovereignty of the new government, but President Zillsky says his team is fully prepared and will face all the challenges.
