Targeting Iranian nuclear program under IAEA is a dangerous example for international peace
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Iraqi addressed the BRICS meeting, calling the recent military attacks on the United States and Israel Iran a clear violation of international law, the UN Charter and the Nuclear Non -Proliferation Agreement (NPT).
Abbas Iraqi said that Israel launched 12 -day attacks on Iran with the help and participation of the United States, killing hundreds of people and destroying nuclear and basic installations.
He said that on June 13, Israel targeted Iranian troops and nuclear scientists, while on June 22, the United States launched directly attacks on Iranian nuclear installations.
The Foreign Minister made it clear that targeting the Iranian nuclear program under the supervision of IAEA is a dangerous view of international peace.
He said the US and Israeli attacks violate the UN resolution 2231. Iran’s nuclear program is completely peaceful and under global supervision. Instead of taking action against Israel, it has international backing. The US and Israel’s actions have destabilized the global system.
Abbas Iraqi called on the international community, the UN and international organizations to hold unilateral aggression, human rights violations and those who violate international law.
