US President Donald Trump said in a message on Truth Social that Elon Musk is probably the most subsidized person in history. If it is not financial support, it can close its business and return to South Africa.
Trump added that electric vehicles are fine, but it is ridiculous by the government to make their purchase on the public. He said that the EV Mandate has always been against his election campaign.
President Trump also claimed that the government could save billions of dollars if the subsidy provided to Space X, Tesla and other institutions was stopped.
He sarcastically said that perhaps we should ask the “Department of Government Affairs (DOGE)” to investigate the matter.
Trump’s criticism has come when Elon Musk criticized the debt -raising bill in Congress and announced that if the bill was passed, he would form a new political party “US Party”.
