News Update Snow Melted; A Trade Agreement Between The United States And China Was Reached
The US and China imposed strict trade sanctions on each other
The United States and China have confirmed a trade agreement that the world has long been waiting for.
According to the World News Agency, US President Donald Trump has announced that a new trade agreement has been reached between the United States and China, an attempt to end the ongoing trade war between the two global economic powers.
“We have recently signed an agreement with China,” President Trump said during a ceremony at the White House on Thursday night.
However, he did not provide further details of the deal.
A White House official said the agreement was a continuation of the talks in Geneva last month, where the two countries agreed on a temporary trade ceasefire.
He added that after Geneva, the talks in London led to further eradication, resulting in a “framework contract” which was now formally formulated.
US Secretary of Commerce Howard Littin told Bloomberg TV that the agreement was signed two days ago, but did not provide details.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce has also confirmed the agreement, saying that the two sides have agreed to the details of the framework.
