Horrific Attack In New York: 5 People Including A Police Officer Killed, Attacker Commits Suicide
This is the 254th incident of mass killings in the United States during 2025
NEW YORK: Five people, including a police officer, Dedar -ul -Islam, were shot dead by a gunman in Miditown Manhattan, New York, while the attacker shot himself and committed suicide.
The incident took place in a 634 -foot -tall building located on Park Avenue. The building is set up in the National Football League and Blackstone offices and its security is more tough than usual.
According to witnesses, a man entered the building with a long gun and started firing on the people in the lobby. Another police officer and a civilian were also injured in the incident, but their condition is out of danger.
Authorities have identified the attacker as Shane Tamura, a 27 -year -old man and a resident of Las Vegas. According to officials, he was alone and had no criminal record.
Shen Tamura had a handgun license and was also registered as a private investigator, but his license was suspended.
