There was a significant progress on the trade agreement between Pakistan and the United States, which Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Aurangzeb left for Washington to meet the talks.
According to the Finance Ministry, during the visit of Federal Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb to the United States, there will be final talks on the Pak -US trade dialogue, the trade agreement will benefit the economies of the two countries.
The Finance Ministry statement said that strong trade relations in Pak and the United States are important pillars. The United States is a largest trading partner than Pakistan. Pakistan wants to extend bilateral trade to traditional and non -traditional sectors.
The declaration of Pakistan has huge opportunities for partnerships in IT, minerals, agriculture in Pakistan, and the Finance Minister’s visit is a series of strengthening trade relations.
Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb says the chances of further improvement in trade relations between Pakistan and the United States are bright.
Earlier, a Pakistani delegation, led by Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb, visited Washington, the Finance Minister also met with US Finance, Trade Representative USTR.
According to the statement, the commitment to promote Pak -US trade relations and investment was reaffirmed, the Pakistani delegation also met with US Secretary of Commerce.
The US trade representative, led by the Finance Minister, also met with Jameson Grier, where the two described trade and economic relations as an important pillar of bilateral relations.
The Finance Minister has said that the US is the largest trade contribution of Pakistan, Pakistan wants to promote cooperation in traditional and unconventional sectors, Pakistan wants to expand IT, minerals, agriculture and other sectors.
